Magnolia Pearl 24" x 30" x 2"

Magnolias are one of my favorite flowers.  But they are so illusive.  They are at the top of the trees and open only to the sky.  I used only three colors, black, yellow and red but it reads as a tonal oil painting.  Yes, black and yellow make a beautiful color of green! Some of the petal tips have a patterned edge just to make you look closer and now you can see the opening of these fabulous flowers.
